Typically lasting ten days and nine nights, On the Trail of Brian Boru is an exclusive excursion designed for small and large groups 4 – 20 (families, group of friends, corporate outing, academic group, etc.) including children five years and over.
Tara can plan small group tours any time of the year. Large group tours are led by Irish native Tara Mulroy, they occur only a handful of times each year, meaning you are about to embark on something truly unique. All trips begin at Dublin Airport. Tara can help you source air travel convenient to you, if needed.
- Large group tours (16-20 people) typically take place in May, June, August and September.
- Small group travel can be arranged anytime of the year.
- Standard tours last for ten days and nine nights. Custom tours can last seven days and six nights. Make it your Ireland!

- Tara offers the same expertise in planning for small groups, including a local driver and guild.
- Large Group – Minimum number of guests: 16; maximum number of guests: 20.
- Tara’s Travels requests one individual represent the group in making specific arrangements.
- Breakfast is included daily; lunch is generally not included.
- Most evening meals are included for larger groups. However, there will be the opportunity to head out to find your own “Taste of Ireland.” We’ll make recommendations.
